For this month's 321M Connect Meeting, we are excited to announce that we have Christine St. Germain, Program Technical Integration Lead from NASA to come to talk to us about the Artemis Mission. Trash Bash Volunteers Clean up 3,248 Pounds of Litter in the City of MelbourneOn Saturday, April 1, volunteers all across Brevard County helped clean up our community during the Keep Brevard Beautiful 40th Annual Trash Bash. In the City of Melbourne, 218 volunteers collected 151 bags and a total of 3,248 pounds of litter from nine sites throughout the city. Our kayaking group found the largest items — six tires in the lagoon near Riverview Park. Our Melbourne Main Street team picked up the most litter totaling 39 bags of trash. Waste Management was a huge help by going around to the different sites to collect trash bags and bulky items, and McDonald’s, Panera Bread, Publix, and Love Bugs Bakery provided breakfast for the volunteers.“I want to thank all of the site captains and volunteers for taking the time out of your Saturday to help make Melbourne a cleaner and safer place to live," said Megan Selva, environmental programs coordinator with the City of Melbourne. "It is truly an awesome thing to see the community come together for a good cause.” ... See MoreSee Less
